There is nothing that says summer better than bright tropical flowers. I was delighted to make 3 of these long, low centerpieces for my friend Jill's birthday party this past weekend. The dress she picked to wear for the celebration was her inspiration, which we were able to mimic with the flowers. The venue was a great spot for this event as Jill, her friends and the flowers enjoyed being seated at the lovely Baleen restaurant, at the Hotel Portofino in Redondo Beach.
