Sunflowers are like mini suns radiating glowing warmth. Kind of like your Mom! I mixed a few with some succulents and daisy mums last week to honor our the room moms in my son's school. The long vase life of these two flowers are a good match with the succulents. The room moms are sure to remember their year with the 2nd grade, as the succulents should last a very long time!

    Fresh Flowers are always heartening to look at and among them sunflower is King. It gives you an inspiration to stand tall even in big difficulties in your life as it stands in front of furious sun.

    Beautiful flowers. Not just being beautiful to look at, the sunflower is also useful the seeds grown in the flower's head are good parrot and bird seed, as well as being tasty for a hamster. The seeds are also home to the oil which many of us cook with.
