St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort Wedding with Hydrangeas and Orchids

On June 2nd, I set up a wedding on my own in Dana Point at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort. What a gorgeous location!!!! 

As you can see, the floral theme included hydrangea and orchids. This gazebo in the botanical garden on the resort property was over 7 feet high, so I had to bring my own ladder to attach my floral decorations to the structure. This was tough to install on my own, but I have a few florist tricks up my sleeve!

Some advice for you new floral designers: Be sure to call ahead to the catering manager and find out if you need to bring your own ladder and where you can park. These resorts are HUGE! There were a lot of logistics involved with this wedding, so be prepared! Enjoy the photos of the ceremony location and the wine cellar reception location.
