Labor and Delivery

You have labored over your flowers to make them just the way your client would like and expect. Now you have to get them to the Reception on time and in one piece. This party was on the pier in Redondo Beach and so parking in front of the venue was not an option. Our handy wagon was the vehicle of choice. The joy of the wagon was that I rolled right in the front door and parked it right next to the table! Ahhh.... The simple things after all that labor!

  1. When pushing stems into the foam, make sure that the bottom of the stem stays in contact with it. This means that if you push a flower in too far, don’t just pull it up, as this will leave an air-pocket under the stem, causing it to wilt. Always start another hole.
