Philadelphia Flower Show

If you are in the mood to see some amazing floral design, head out to the 2010 Philadelphia Flower Show. I think this is the biggest in the United States and am happy to see it is still going on. The show runs through this Sunday - March 7.  Hours vary by day - best viewing hours are after 4 p.m. each day.  Ticket prices vary by day and age group. Purchase tickets in advance or at the door to the flower show. If you go, make sure you wear comfy shoes and layers and take along your camera and a bag to haul away the great stuff you will most likely purchase in the shopping area.

What to expect? Lots of displays, exhibits, workshops, shopping, food, wine tasting and people! Each year, many professional landscapers, florists, and horticultural and educational organizations create garden exhibits and floral displays at the show and compete for many awards, including the “Best in Show” in each category. Check out the other flower show attractions like free garden workshops.

When you get home and you have an inkling to create your own floral design, call us up - we'll teach you how or order our "How to Create a European Wrap Bouquet" DVD.
